ICF becomes self-regulatory
About Sylvie Schoen-Schlumberger
Born in France of Alsatian origin, based in Brussels, my work experience includes HR (+ general business management) gained within renowned companies such as 3M, Boeing or Cap Gemini. I have also gained experience within two "head hunters", at the European Institutions (European Parliament & Commission) and IOM. These 35+ years experience make me feel at ease in large private or medium sized companies, as well as in the public sector.
Today, I am Professional Certified Coach (PCC) by ICF (International Coach Federation). In addition to my work as a Coach, Mentor Coach & Supervisor, Consultant & Trainer, I was the Belgium Board President of ICF for 2 consecutive boards, did pro-bono work as Assessor for the ICF credential exams and am engaged in several schools for supervision, training and as a resource person.
My most enthusiastic job is coaching and supervision, as well as training. I do both corporate and individual coaching with executive and middle managers. My activities concentrate on team building, increasing of performance, building a "coach attitude", supporting career transition, improving people's skills and motivation in their professional and individual lives, supervision and mentoring of coaches. I have also recently been hired to work on a conflict resolution in an institution.
My clients and contacts describe me as an enthusiastic person, who knows how to improve people's confidence in both their hard and soft skills. Results-oriented, I am rather confronting but known at the same time as caring, empathic and respectful. Ethics are one of my key values. Last but not least humor is something I value in my practice !
Travelling is her hobby, she is passionate about the Silk Road (she visited China, Syria and recently Iran & Uzbekistan). In addition to some European languages, she has been emerged in the Chinese language since the age of 14.
I work in both English & French, speak Chinese, + some German & Dutch.
